    I actually experienced a white van sale near me about 3 years ago. I entertained the idea just to see how legit they tried to make it. They had magazine articles and a few other things to try to show it was a legit operation. They even tried to demo them, but they were complete garbage. I later started looking on the net for similar events, and it was a noted scam that has been ongoing. If I recall it was McLaren...

    ^^^^You were lucky to even demo them, a buddy of mine screwed up and made a purchase, got them home and the speakers were filled with phone books for weight.

    I lifted up the box, it was pretty light. I remember the speaker wire was probably like 28 gauge and the thing actually produced sound, if you would call it that. I am sure home depot would have been thrilled they used their parking lot for this.
