Wow, what a weekend in sports!

Ohio State goes down in flames, Tiger blows the lead and loses his own tournament, New England comes from behind and wins AGAIN, Broncos kicker Prater breaks the all time NFL record with a 64 yard field (kudos to the coach for giving him that chance by the way), helluva fun game to watch in Philly with all the snow, the game between SF and Seattle is as good as advertised if you like defense...
On a less positive note, my Colts didn't look good at all against the Bengals, looks like Gronk is out for the Pats for the rest of the season, Welker has ANOTHER concussion...
Those are just the first few that come to mind, been a crazy day in the NFL and we've got another potential great game tonight between the Saints and Panthers, been a great weekend to be stuck indoors.

Sorry guys but I had to checkout the Seaturkys and when I did they lost, I knew better but I just had to look. Sorry:redface::sad:“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” ~ Mark Twain

Some pretty incredible stuff there. Not a big OSU fan so happy to see them knocked out of BCS game. They would have LOST it anyway! And I'm tired of watching OSU being over-hyped and look like a second tier team in the Big Game.
To Seattle fans. A tough one. But I did say that "any" team can be beaten on any day. Eagles, got my fingers crossed there! Pats? Love them or hate them they've got some weird mojo the last few weeks (I do, though, expect, all that "come back" stuff to FALTER when it really counts--see the Pats out in their first playoff game).
Packers are back? Well they won and Rodgers is returning!
Bengals are also looking like a team to "watch out for"?

Ravens/Vikings... 5 TDs in just about the last 2 minutes. What a rollercoaster ride that was!

Wow! What a game! FIVE lead changes in the last 2:05. I thought it was great! My Vikings almost won...and thankfully, they didn't. We haven't lost any ground in our quest for a high draft pick next year. It also looks like X. Rhodes is improving quite a bit at cornerback and Floyd at DT, and Cordarelle Patterson is going to be a force in the NFL!! We do need to find out in the remainder of the season if Josh Freeman has anything to offer us at QB though.
Also, I DO think the Vikings would be best served by trading Adrian Peterson - yes, you read that right! - while he still has high value (with which they could beef up their D). Then, they could keep Toby Gerhardt who's a very good back and is a MUCH better receiver and blocker than Adrian. -
Also note the War Eagles ran the football like madmen. Pound the rock baby.

This would even them up on the Herschel Walker trade that laid the groundwork for the Cowboys success in the 90's.
As for the weekend, almost every game turned out like I wanted. So glad N. Illinois lost. That's not like me as I usually support the mid-majors, but it just seems like a real downer for their bowl opponent. Baylor would have been a 21 point favorite. That being said, Baylor will probably beat Central Florida by 3 touchdowns as well.
Glad OU won because I'd rather UT or Baylor win the Big 12 (Hey, I'm from Texas).
Glad Ohio St. got beat. Fla. St. still wouldn't have played a game closer than 14 points.
Don't watch too much NFL, but the Eagles/Lions game was cool.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -

Crazy endings to a lot of games, exciting to watch anyway.
Threw some sausage stuffed mushrooms and Chicken Kiev in the oven, opened a few bottles of wine, loaded up the fireplace with wood, and the wife and I settled in for a cold day of watching the games. That's of course after the grandkids left.HT SYSTEM-

Yes, The Spartans exposed and took advantage of the Buckeyes weaknesses. Its been a long time but they are going to the Roses! I was there the last time back in '88, I was in the marching band. Wish I could make the trip with the family this time around.2.2 Office Setup | LG 29UB55 21:9 UltraWide | HP Probook 630 G8 | Dell Latitude | Cabasse Stream Amp 100 | Boston Acoustics VS 240 | AUDIORAX Desk Stands | Mirage Omni S8 sub1 | Mirage Omni S8 Sub2
