SB9000IHT and Sony NSX-40GT1 remote

So, I have a Sony Google TV with a keypad remote that must be paired with the TV? I was able to make the TV work with the Comcast remote, but I have been unsuccessful programming the Sony remote to operate the sound bar. Any thoughts?
