PSW111 is super quiet, but is getting a signal

My PSW 111 is no longer working. It is super quiet (to the point I need to get my ear down to listen if any signal is coming out when it is on max volume). I am using it with an Onkyo TX NR-609, but I also connected the RCA cable to my Blu- Ray player and it didn't work (but I could hear very faintly that the signal was coming through). I have checked and rechecked things like making sure that the receiver is setup to recognize the subwoofer, the fuse is still good, and it isn't an issue of the speaker not being large enough to fill the room. Something is clearly wrong. I found a post from 2 years ago that has the same problem, but none of the answers worked. The subwoofer did work before, so I know what it is supposed to sound like.
