Polk N1 surroundbar not going full digital on Xbox One?

Hi,

I have a slight "problem" with my brand new Polk N1 Surround bar. When I hook it up to my Xbox One via the optical cord, the LED in source 1 only glows blue, which indicates a PCM signal and not Dolby Digital signal (then it glows green)...

But when I hook it up to my old Xbox 360 via optical, it on the other hand glows green as it should, and I am able to get the full Dolby Digital sound. I'm hooking them up in exactly the same way, it just doesn't work on the Xbox One, and I have no idea why... But I would very much like to get the full experience of the surround bar on the Xbox One as well, because it is absolutely awesome! :)

Please help!

If i remember correctly, Microsoft will still implement dolby digital out via optical on the xbox one in a future firmware update (they ran out of time to make release day).

"Dolby Digital is coming post launch. This was a SW scheduling issue pure and simple, and I know people are disappointed, but we will have it."

You are right, after googling a bit more into the matter, I also found out that Dolby Digital is yet to be implemented :) But thanks to you both!

Oh good someone else using it so I can ask a questions haha. I was wondering, what settings are you using on your XBO for the N1 so far? Do you just have it set to Stereo Uncompressed since DD isn't enabled on the system yet? I play most of my games on the CD setting because if I do it with Cinema it seems to be missing the "center" speaker and I either can't hear people talking in the foreground at all, or it's very muted.

But what settings are you using for the games you are playing? Like what setting do you play Dead Rising 3 or Assassins Creed 4 on vs. using the Shooter (Halo) setting or the Racer (forza) settings?

Also, I have my XBO connected via optical right to the soundbar skipping my tv currently as I was having all sorts of messed up sound coming from it because of digital processing. I ended up figuring out you just want to turn off the TV's speakers to help fix that. I appreciate any feedback because it sounds good, but I just want to make sure it's setup correctly. Music on the CD reset does sound very, very good. I might hook up a polk sub to it too for a little more kick but the soundbar is impressive so far.
