The only thing the Packers proved is that they are just as good as the Vikings when Rodgers is not on the field. Eliminate him, and they suck.

I would be willing to be that even if the Seahawks were forced to play Christian Ponder, they would still find a way to win.

The Packers don't suck like the Vikings!! Happily I say the Packers will never ever suck like the Vikings.

The Pack is very similar to most highly competitive teams which have a elite QB. When the number 1 player goes down the team suffers for awhile. Now for a team like the Vikings it does not matter what happens they always suck.

The Viking suck because they have a horse **** franchise and fans.

I think I may pass up going to church and have a marathon tune session tomorrow AM with a few beers then watch football.

Yep the Packers are too reliant on Rogers, I can only imagine but my Broncos would probably be in the same boat without Peyton - we all saw what happened when he was out a season in Indy.

Wilson is a huge factor for Seattle, but with that defense I could probably play QB for those guys. I think that Seattle, Carolina, and SF are the three teams in the league best equipped to win without their current starting QBs.

You will get zero argument from me that the Vikings suck... but to say the Packers are an elite team is pretty funny. If they were truly elite, any decent QB could step in and make the pieces fit and find a way to win. Seattle and Denver were my two picks to start the season, and I see nothing at all that changes that. Denver takes the Lombardi this year over Seattle with a final score of 31-17, and after his trip to Disneyworld, Manning retires and replaces Bradshaw in the booth.

Packers are not elite but Rodgers is and what I said was when an elite QB goes down for any team they generally struggle big time.

Can you imagine Tblow as a announcer??? He has a lot of opportunities. I personally like and respect him but am not sure how he would do as a announcer.

I don't think I ever quoted myself before.

I went to church this morning instead of having a tune session and a few brews. The way I look at it is that the Packers need my prayers more than I need a tune session this morning.

You guys/gals have fun watching the games have a few whatevers and eat something unhealthy.

I will say one thing, I'd like to see the poise and class that Russell Wilson has rub of on the rest of the team.

Don't we all wish poise and class would rub off on society. It least a little bit.

Great game in SF today, the 49ers needed that game more than Seattle but the Hawks came ready to play. SF loses that game and I don't think they make the playoffs, losing that game really doesn't hurt Seattle at all as they still have the best record in the NFC.

Yeah, actually, I'm calling this loss a good thing for Seattle. Sometimes it's good to be reminded you're not invincible.

So are you saying you wanted Seattle to lose this game? I never really understood the good loss or moral victory mentality, I'm always pissed when my team loses.

Well, as a fan, no. When we lose, I throw ****. :-)

But sometimes a team can use a bip in the nose to set things right.

We need to clean up our penalties for sure.

I totally understand this and agree. It's not a bad thing, especially for a team ...that "put the rest of the NFC on notice"? Better a loss NOW than in the playoffs where it's one loss and out! So yeah, this may be a good thing. No one is saying fans should like it. Of course fans ALWAYS prefer a win.

Unless the Seahawks f@ck up like the Texans did last December and lost the home field advantage, it'll be a monumental task for any team to beat them in Seattle in the playoffs. That stadium and their fans are just plain scary. It's like they provide unlimited virtual M&M for the Beast to run wild

I love how Sherman is blaming the loss on the officials, yet another classless move on his part. The guy is really talented, but seriously just needs to shut up and play football, he's one of my least favorite players in the league because of all the talking and taunting he does.

It's great that you can back it up, but how about showing just a little class...

I like Sherman, he's fun to watch and usually backs up his trash talk. Here's a quote from Earl Thomas, a bit more honest...
