Isn't there some kind of DIY kit, or replacement amp like daton or any other brands that us good old rt1000p guy's
could use so we could finally get some reliability value out of our rt' speakers...

What are the dimensions of the RT1000P's amp cutout? What impedance are the drivers? Wouldn't it make more sense to just by-pass those old plate amps and use a regular external amp ?HT SYSTEM-
