Problem with crossover on RT55

I have a set of RT55's and one is louder/fuller than the other. This is not a tweeter issue like it was with my RT1000's. The woofers seemed to be the culprit this time. The woofers on the working speaker were producing a rich, full sound which isn't as noticeable on the other speaker. The woofers on the "bad" speaker are working as far as I can tell with no scratching when pushed in. I pulled out the crossover and it looks normal with no visible damage, bulging caps, etc. To make absolutely sure the woofers were okay, I swapped them out with the ones in my RT35's and noticed no change at all. The other speaker was still definitely louder.
Could the crossover be the real culprit here?

They are reaching that 15-20 year mark. I have had folks send me crossovers that started to sound funny to find that a capacitor had slipped in value, say 10uf to 2.3uf.
It could or could not be the crossovers. If you want to send the stock crossovers here I can hook them up to my software and compare the two for you at no charge (cover return shipping)- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Thanks. I'll shoot you a pm.Display: Sony 42" LCD
