Both seem to have pretty good reviews. I would probably lean toward the Oppo myself.

I selected the Cambridge over the Oppo when I was in the market. I think they both are a no brainer.

This^^^ I could not agree more, except I went with the OPPO, I had the opportunity to play with the Cambridge, and they both are great...

If you look closely, the BDP-93 the predecessor to the BDP-103 share a lot in common with the Cambridge Audio. The back panel are pretty much identical. Whether they have the same innards, i'm not sure. However, for BD playback, Oppo is king in my book.

I really like the cambridge it was thier demo model and has been in use for about 6 months that's why I was a little Leary because its probably been played with, and moved around countless times minor scratches on the face plate, I did talk them down to $499.00 which is $ 300 off plus it will still have the 1 year warranty so I still might consider it, I can probably wait it out as the guy said not many we're sold at the list price, I like the oppo also so might hold out and see if any new units will be sold on Black Friday. Thanks for the input everyone.

The oppo's pretty much never go on sale. They move pretty well at their price and the resale value is pretty next to new. If you want an Oppo, might as well get one now and enjoy it sooner!

I've read good and "not so impressed" with the Oppo 103 Darbee edition.

Anyone here actually have it and give us their thoughts?
