For your consideration today we have my "AA Top Fuel" Jolida JD100 CD player. This player is modified to the extreme and sounds glorious. I know I'm going to regret selling this, but it's time to pass it on.

I'll list what I've done as follows;

Trichord clock
Blackgate caps in the power supply
Hexfred diodes in the power supply
REL caps in the signal path
One Sonicap Platinum cap in the signal path
Mundorf silver/oil output caps
Additional unclad PCB added for the clock and Mundorf's
Custom copper plate added to the rear for the RCA's
WBT Nextgen RCA's
Welborne Labs 14 gauge chassis wire
Headphone amp section removed to clean up the signal path
Dynamat Extreme added everywhere
Cardas solder
Ei 12AX7 tubes
Techflex added to wire looms
Every board/section is modular in case any work needs to be done

I've probably forgot a few things, but you get the idea, no expense was spared.

In addition, this comes with the silver faceplate if you want to change it, a brand new complete transport assembly with optical pickup installed and two brand new optical pickup assemblies. I plan for the future.

Condition is excellent as is the remote (no batteries). Comes with the original power cord, owners manual as well as a schematic and will be packed in the factory double box. The silver faceplate, extra transport and pickups will come in a separate box.

This player is one of a kind and will bring you years of musical bliss.

Price: $1200.00
Payment: PayPal (add 3%), USPS MO or personal check if I know you.
Shipping: FedEx, cost to be determined.

I would be happy to answer any questions you may have and thanks for looking.

This is a very good player to begin with but with all those mods it's probably off the charts in performance! If you are TIRED of covering your ears to protect you from what is the sound of nails across a chalk board that is produced by most sub $1000 dollar digital players and even DACs (yeah even the good ones sound SHARP to me!). This is totally worth it! Musical doesn't even begin to define what it sounds like.

    GLWTS!

Thanks for the offer Jesse, while I trust your packing job would be Great, I would not trust any courier service with a fine delicate item such as yours..
Now if I could meet at the Buffalo border or Niagara Falls that would be doable..

    Jhayman,

Listen up, this puppy would smoke the Shangling. Seriously, as cdp's go....you'd have to spend upwards of 4 or 5k to beat it with any authority. It would also bring some tube warmth to those speakers of yours and I'm guessing would compliment your McCormacks. Worth your consideration, and if I had the coin right now we wouldn't even be talking about it.

Maybe another Polkie who lives by the border can take delivery if you drive down ?

Nothing, I'm selling off my office rig as it doesn't get enough use these days. In fact, it hadn't been turned on for months until the other day when I gave it a last listen.....sounded damn good too :)
