I live outside the U.S. and I can´t make international calls, so I made several requests to Polkaudio CS department by email
polkcs@polkaudio.com , but strangely they did NOT send me the schematics for the PSW 125 power amplifier and power supply.

I need them to repair my subwoofer that burned several months ago and I´m very grateful if someone can send me these schematics by email.

    Thanks for all.

    Hello,
Send an email to: kjasper@polkaudio.com he'll be able to respond.
    Cheers, Ken
  • The main board of my PSW 125 subwoofer was damaged many months ago with some components completely destroyed, making impossible to repair it without checking their factory specifications on the schematics, and there is NO Polkaudio authorized service center in my city, or in nearby cities.

Because of this situation I requested for Polk Consumer Support to send me by e-mail the complete electrical diagrams PSW 125 subwoofer, especially the amplifier/power suply module schematics, but I received only the signal and control schematics (feature board).

At all times I have requested the schematics for Polk CS, they informed don't having PSW 125 complete electrical diagrams, containing the amplifier/power supply module in their data base files, however they did nothing to solve this problem.

I tried even contact to OEM manufacturer of amplifier/power supply module (Sonavox Electronics), but we was told me that they are not allowed to directly provide me PSW125 full schematics. So, why Polk CS not requested those full schematics for Sonavox until today, over a year after my first request to them?

I own many Polk products by longtime and I'm very, very surprised and frustrated by the fact that even after such a long wait, POLK CS DON'T HAVE the PSW 125 FULL SCHEMATICS IN THEIR DATA BASE FILES, because this subwoofer is still manufactured and sold normally, and without the schemes of the amplifier/power supply module there is no way for correctly repair it, throwing all my investment in the garbage.

I will be very grateful for help.

At the end have you found a solution? I have problem on psw110, maybe It have same amplifier, somebody had send me the schematic but there is not voltages references on it, and, over all, lack the schematic of miniboard of oscillator that drive the mosfet of power supply. I have tested all the other components and all seems to be OK, i think there is a problem on this oscillator miniboard but i cant do nothing to try reparation without schematic of this part

Hi guys, I need a photo of the PSW125 amp plate. I especially need the power supply area under the FETs because I missed some tracks and I can't restore them. Thank you

Post pics of your PCB, if there's any chance it's the same as the PSW110 with some different components, I have a pic of the bottom part of this one.

I'm sorry franronc, the amplifier is different, I had assumed that it was the same because the pcb of PSW110 amplifier is the same, with some components variations, a version of the PSW111, which declares the same power as the PSW125, 150Wrms and 300 peak. Maybe this amplifier is the same of the other version of PSW111 :/

Wow my psw125 went out few months ago too which is crazy , it kept blowing fuses , I took it apart and checked everything and the mosfets were blown , I replaced the mosfets and it blew again, someone that repairs these boards told me the glue Polk audio uses on these boards dry up and become conductive , causing shorts all over the place I attempted to clear out all the glue and replaced few resistors and capacitors all
Around the board now the board doesn’t blow fuse anymore and nothing is shorted but It doesn’t turn on either I either damaged traces during the repair or put in the wrong value resistor cause you can’t even tell what it was ! xvn39arak2jo.jpeg

Also I am not sure about the traces I repaired if I did it correctly as there is still glue blocking half the board and I can’t get it off , so pissed off I called Polk audio and asked for diagram and the women on the phone was clueless as in what I was asking for! She kept insisting I give her the serial # and the location where I bought it from and then tells
Me I am not under warranty and she can’t help me wasted 24min of my time pathetic customer support , I am about given up on the board ! I am sure it’s not worth repairing , I am going to buy cheap class D amp and stick it in there and sell it
