removing tweeter from baffle

I am presently attempting to remove a tweeter from an RT55's front baffle. I took off the baffle per instructions of a Polk CS tech, who was not "exactly" sure how to "pop out" the tweeter assembly. The tech stated there is a notch at the bottom of the assemb. INSIDE the baffle and to insert a flathead screwdriver + remove. I've tried several times w/no success, and I don't want to damage the baffle. I don't want to mail the WHOLE baffle, either. Anybody else have more detailed instructions? Please help if you can.

You have to be a LITTLE forceful.
That really is all there is to it, wedge a small (thin) flathead in there, and POP the effer out. It's scary the first time.

RuSsMaN,
how should I hold the flathead - straight up + down? Do I push forward or twist the screwdriver? I know it's supposed to drop out the front (direction of the music when hooked-up). Do I PRY at all? I just need a few precise tips. -
Got it!
CS rep was incorrect - tweeter comes out the BACK of the baffle, not the front. It will also re-install through the BACK, not the front. -

That is STEP by STEP instructions from yours truly. HAVE FUN!
The tweeter when you put it back in, you set it in place and it POPS right back in. Simple- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
