So really if you score 48 points on the Broncos, it's not enough. They are a remarkable team to say the least. The Defense got beat all day long and then when it really mattered , they came up huge with that Interception. Unbelievable I can'e even imagine what it would be like to be in the Dallas locker room after that game , it's like the Broncos are unbeatable. You can't score 48 points and lose, really that just doesn't ever happen. You can't have a QB throw the ball as well as Romo did on target all game long and lose. It's crazy how that game went.

That game was like watching a Super Bowl!

Just so everyone knows which most of you do, I'm a Bronco fan. My heart rate I believe is coming back to normal just now.

I was waiting for Bad Tony to show up. Our defense sucks to say the least. Denver is unstoppable but we've been giving up a boatload of yards and points.

The Defense needs work, I'm not sure where but they give up a ton of yards in the air. So what to do about it? I"m wondering when Bailey Gets back IF things slow down a bit. We need a better defense to win the Super bowl or even go deep into the Playoffs.
Scoring 50 points a game can't last forever, I'm sure someone will figure out how to slow them down.

Typical Romo, he had a hell of a game but couldn't help but choke. My wife walked in the play before he got sacked, then threw a pick, so i'm blaming her (insert smiley face). Gotta admit they did play a good game and I expected us to get stomped, but sometimes its easier that way since a loss is a loss. Now gonna watch Schaub choke too!

Everyone is talking about how Romo threw that interception, and helped the Broncos, what about the one that Payton threw, that helped Dallas?

Great Game!!! Best of the season so far!!

Larry you're so right, I love watching the Broncs beat up on other teams, but that was the best game of the year.
How nice to see them keep it together when they aren't walking away.
The season is young, but I'm very optomistic.
    GO BRONCOS!!!

The Broncos haven't had a chance to face a good defense yet. The NFL is pretty brutal at pinpointing the opponents' weakness along the season, and the Broncos defense is its Achilles heel. Can the offense continue to score 40+ to cover the defense, especially in the playoffs? And guess what, Peyton isn't any special during that time of year. In fact he threw more critical interceptions than winning crucial games for his teams during the playoffs.

And wasn't he wearing a glove late last year (I could be wrong, but I thought he was for better grip)? He thrived in a dome atmosphere prior to coming to Denver. I know teams huff and puff in Mile High, but I'm wondering if 10 degrees and blustery will be his undoing come playoff time. Anytime you make a sea change to something as fundamental as the way you hold a ball (even if it's just a glove), I would be worried.

That may worry me more than the D, when you had people like Von Miller and Champ Bailey out last night.

In 2 weeks they have there 1st real test against pass defenses...Indy, following that will be a couple of bouts against KC, Patriots, and Texans. KC is about the run and and Denver excels in run defense, NE and Indy would be a coin toss of having a good day or a great day. These games like last night will be based on capitalizing on simple mistakes like turnovers, penalties, and conversions.

At the end of the day as the record stands now and not being a Broncos or Saints fan, I think a Superbowl shootout between these 2 teams would be very entertaining, along with a Cowboys 2 or a Seattle match up.

    Just my .02

    Cheers

The Cowboys making it the SB would be hilarious  Texas doesn't stand a chance with Schaub and Romo at the helm.

Guys, the blaring obvious is neither team had a defense that showed up. I will admit however, Dallas's defensive line was getting some penetration but Denver's defensive line was giving Romo time to call Papa Johns for take out. Heck, I've been to weddings that took less time than Romo had back there. I was simply baffled. Romo has to get over that mental block of his about making mistakes in the 4th quarter. I did think too that Denver had to work more for their yardage than Dallas did. You throw for 500+ yards and still lose the game.....unfrickin' believable.

Let's judge the Broncos defense when they get Miller back, yesterday was really the first time this year they've faced a good offense and you could really see the impact of Miller not being in the game. I think Bailey is old and probably overrated at this point, so don't know what impact his return will have, but getting Miller back in a couple weeks should help.

And the Broncos is being favored by 28 points over the Jaguars!!! Ridiculous number!!!
By the way the Broncos will meet the Titans in a few weeks. Another "Bountygate" in the making
