    The whole system was triad and it was BIG. projector theater setup in a very acoustically dead room... I didn;t notice any too much of anything, and they very well balanced...the one noticeable thing was that nothing stood out negatively... when i look at these, i see a nice deal, and you have to see them with your ears :)



    They may be overkill... I'm liking the ones on ebay too.

    They were in a high end projector based theater room, and the whole system audio system was tuned to the room really well and the acoustic treatments made it very dead.

    I watched some polar express, and that soundtrack was really awesome.

    I can't say that there was anything I didn't like about them and they did not seem bright or have any neg characteristics but then again this was a moderately big $$$$ ht

    Cool. The Triads look like a high quality product, my only concern is that they won't be bright enough to match the Usher DMD's. I pulled the trigger on a used pair of Totem Lynks. I'm hoping they'll have the "excitement" I'm looking for, given their 0.5" titanium tweeters rated to 30khz. Won't know till I give'em a whirl!
