When my Polk audio is off I started hearing a clicking sound from the subwoofer. I find that it does not work but its power is on. We mainly use our system with the TV and do not use it often, never loud use. Our system is 3 years old. If you unplug and replug the r/lfe in line, you get a brief lound burst of loud sound so it appears that the subwoofer is capable but otherwise no sound. Any ideas?

    Hi charliew,
Welcome to Polk's forum, sorry you're having a problem. Let's try a test, first turn the sub's volume all the way down and remove the cable you have coming into it. Then disconnect your CD/DVD player from your receiver and bring it close to the sub. Then with AC power provided to the CD/DVD player connect from either the right or left audio output, of the player, to the LFE input on the sub. Then begin playing a CD and turn the volume up a little bit on the sub, there should be plenty of bass coming from the sub.
    Regards, Ken
