I was not happy about paying more than we had agree'd on but he was willing to back out the deal and keep the car so I had no other option but to pay or walk away.

Well, another option would be to say "Sorry. The deal is for X dollars, not Y dollars.", and walk away. I doubt if he has buyers lined up, or this is the only car in the world.

There is no car, no deal, no way. It is a completely fabricated story. He is FOS.

He has not and will not post a link to the so-called ebay auction from three weeks ago, he won't re-post pictures of the car, he is already hedging about how the deal is to occur (when that should have been clearly stated in the auction). It's ALL BS.

My feeling is that PFB and others that frequent this site are really computer programs to entertain us. We all know that there a fake dating sites that have no real people writing back to men. It's all a version of the Turing experiment which was proposed in the 50s, to test if you can tell the difference between a computer and a real person. Currently with the advances in programing it is very difficult to detect the difference.

I question that PFB is a real person.

    I think I am however.

Good point, but then the internet allows anyone to be anybody.

That pic is of a car in a neighborhood, not a farm, plus it's only the backside, what about the rest of it. Plus it looks like it's parked next to a BMW. This story has more holes than swiss cheese.

PFB - The title of your thread is "I bought a Porsche on ebay without knowing nothing about it"! Either you bought it, or you didn't. Which is it?

You are a liar, plain and simple.

What picture? I have re-scanned this thread and I do not see a picture of the car you supposedly bought. I'm saying prove that you bought this car on e-bay.

I think you are lying about all of it - the no drivers license bs, your dad, your wife, your age, your in-law's farm, your cable adventures, all of. You are Full Of ****.

If that pic was from the ebay listing.....who buys a car with just the rear view anyway ? Your going to have to do better than that PFB, at least if you want to retain an ounce of credibility.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I never said I won an auction...

Strictly speaking, PFB didn't say he won an auction. He said he "bought a car on eBay..." This could have been done at a Buy It Now price listing with just a set item purchase price - no actual auction involved. However, there should still be an eBay listing that could be pulled up as a Completed Listing, which apparently, there isn't.
