So I'm a teacher, math and science at a high school.

A student of mine told me her dad had an old pioneer stereo and speakers that he was getting rid of.
I asked if she could find out the model for me.

A day goes by.

She then said the model of speakers were Pioneer DSS9... my heart drops, I have been hunting for a pair for over a year. Adrenaline is going, heart racing, I can't speak well.

She then says her dad may have dropped them off at Value Village already, I'm freaking out.... I want to run out of the classroom and race there to grab them.

She then tells me Darren says hi.

Darren is one of my audiophile friends from another school that knew I have been looking for these for a long time.

He got me so bad, super excited to very down... one day I'll find a pair.

Just had to share....

PS still loving the SDA srs 2.3 and I haven't even modified them yet. They are singing with my kenwood 700m and a polk psw 505.

    Thanks for the support....
It's going to take a while but at least I can already laugh at it....

I'm going to need to wait a while before striking back maybe 3 months or so...
he has an addiction to vintage hitachi speakers at the moment... I'll get creative.

She should have video taped this conversation.
It'd be priceless to see your face changing with emotions step-by-step.
    Step 1: Vintage Speakers.
Step 2: Getting rid of = FREE.
Step 3: May be already gone.
Step 4: May be I can get before he throws them.
Step 5: Darren? oh crap.
