I never knew setting up a audio system would be this difficult ..
Too many components.. too many brands ....too many combinations..... Too much information.... too much money. -
But you wouldn't give it up for the world!! That's your baby...

I bet she could keep you warm at night though but be careful if she gets the munches in the middle of the night..lolnooshinjohn wrote: »Yep, it's a diet Coke, but bear in mind that she ate her way through three entire McDonalds stores (including all the extra ketchup packs), all Winchells Donut locations within a hundred mile radius, and downed Jared while ransacking a Subway. In the words of Mark (I might be paraphrasing here): Home Theater is easy, 2 Channel is where it's at.
Actually, it is the other way aound. Anyone can setup a two channel system, but it takes skill, knowledge, gear, cables, and power to get a surround sound system working great.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

Fox, I think you missed Mark's point with his statement. HT is fairly easy but your not doing critical listening when watching a movie. In 2 channel when your listening for....well, everything.....it becomes more important to move those speakers an inch this or that way or tailor the sound by way of a tube swap or even cable swap.
Not to insinuate that people don't listen for the little things in HT, it just becomes more apparent in 2 channel and that's where people get more fussy about the final sound.HT SYSTEM-
