    I have had a customer do worse than that. He had us install is big def tech towers (the ones with the powered subs) on top of his 3.5' tall tv stand. It put the woofers just under ear level when sitting down.

    Didn't see them the first time as I wasn't looking for towers next to the TV! Don't get mad if you see the misuse of audio equipment in the media, or you'll never be happy watching TV or a movie.
