As far as that last pic of the tub goes, how about this.

Anyone else think Dan 'redlines' that scale when he steps on it each morning, butt **** naked?

    wire management sch-mire management.

If you like the way it looks and you don't have ground loop (which I find that most of the 'wire management' feature of most racks breeds) hum, who are we to criticize?

You don't get it Troy. It's not the "wire management" of the rack,it's YOU who has to know how to do it.
The Bello rack has basically NO wire management. It has a small pip in the back which your suppost to run your wires in.Well maybe patch cords might fit inside. What I used to do it use the run for service runs.Like Cable,Phone and DSS feeds.Thats about all your going to get inside of it.Now the rack has the mesh back which you can tie your wires to for a clean look.

TIP#2....Check your cable or Dss feeds for proper ground.they should be grounded outside to the house ground or to there own ground. If the ground if faulty, this is the case where you get a 60hz cycle most of the time.

Tip #3...Use the same circuit for all your gear.In my experience when connecting gear from different circuits causes a 60hz cycle as well.Older houses do this as there grounding is poor.Get an electrican involved to get a HOUSE GROUND for the entire electrical system.

You can avoid interference and much as possible with proper wire management, high quality cables, and good connections at termination location.Tip #4.
    wire management sch-mire management.
    It speaks for itself.

Lookin' good, Dan! did you have LSiFx on the side?
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    POLKATESE,
Yes they are mounted 78 inches to the tweeter. Just until the theater is built in the basement.

    Dan,

House is looking good man. Wow that's a very high ceiling. 12 footer? Snowmen and LSi 15 gotta love it.

I'm sure glad that you and your family got to move in and enjoy Christmas in the new house. That must have been really nice.

What's steering you away from the upgrade to the AVR307? I've been thinking about upgrading mine, but it already has Dolby Digital and DTS and sound quality is just as good as my PT5 / ST125.2 seperates (maybe not quite as dynamic but hell very close).

Yes, this amp rocks, yes I run the power wires away from the low volt wires, actually I run wires of like kind togethor, yes I do this because it looks better and is organized. I believe as long as you keep the high voltage away from the lower you will be OK. Yes, I am not finished yet with the wires and yes if you do not want worry about it you do not have to.:D I choose to run the power wires up the racks center chase and route everything else outside on the wire mesh.

    pjdami,
thanks man.I'm waiting for things to devolop in the field.Alot of new stuff coming down the pike. But my heart is set on B&K ref50 preamp, ref 200.5 5 channel amp and the ref200.2 power amp to drive the lsi15's.The 200.5 will drive the center and all surrounds.I might just get the 200.7 I don't know right now.Upgrading the receiver is th elast thing on the list right now.I got alot of gear and wire to buy.

    Reel,
cool deal man.I was only busting your chops.Nice to hear your digging the amp.t's a real good one.

    Dan,
That's a great looking rig! How are the LSi15 doing on bass in that large room? Glad to see you've got everything going again. Can you post a pic of the whole a/v rack?

Dan--No problem man, have been a busy tidying the rack, everything coming out nice. If you can I would get a seperate amp for your fronts. I got a killer deal on the 7270 so I went for it and am happy but if you had one for your fronts and one for surrounds well you know, better for 2 ch. listening since you can leave 5 ch. turned off.
