PSW110 Woes

Hey all,
I don't know what could have caused this, but my sub isn't working. I suspect it had something to do with moving it from my house to the house I'm living in now (I'm in college). Before the move, it was working fine, but once I arrived at the house and hooked everything up, the sub just won't turn on upon flipping the power switch. I'm wondering if it is possible that the fuse blew?
Or maybe something is shorted? A problem I started to notice happening before this incident is that when touching/turning the volume knob, sometimes the volume would spike, but that was very intermittent.
Also, I brought my sub from Amazon I'm pretty sure, not through Amazon. However, I don't have the receipt anymore and Amazon only holds your order history from January of 2012. Knowing this, and people having to pay $**** to get their audio equipment fixed (usually in the same situation as me), is it worth it to just open up the back or take out the woofer and do a little investigation by myself since I'm a pretty technical guy, or call customer service which usually ends up causes more frustration than it is worth?

Hello dres312,
In all likelihood there's a problem with the amplifier's volume control and a transient spike probably blew the AC fuse. The bass amplifier will have to be removed and sent to Polk's west coast service center. The amplifier comes with a three year warranty and all you'll have to do it provide a proof of purchase to Polk. Did you register the unit on Polk's web site?
Contact Polk's CS department at: 1-800-377-7655 or via email to: polkcs@polkaudio.com.
Regards, Ken -
Just got back in country. Yes, I registered it a few days after I bought it. I'll make sure to call them tomorrow.

Perfect, it's always best to register your purchases. Polk will be able to help.

My 0-180 phase switch broke and fell out. Now the sub won't make a sound. It turns on, senses the input but does not move the woofer cone. I looked at the board and the fuse is not blown. Any ideas.
