What side of the lake are you on bro? I went with Ryland Homes (Oakwood Model E) in Lake Wylie. House will be around 3800 Sq feet when done, bonus room will be my HT room. I just went under contract about 2 weeks ago now. Congrats on your new home bro. Hope to see you around the Charlotte area.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Wrong lake Sherardp. He will be up in Lake Norman on the west side. You are down in Lake Wylie. Same river system, divided by a dam. I'm off the Catawba River just South of the Lake Wylie dam.

Sounds like you guys can have neighborhood mini Polkfest. Next time that I am in Charlotte, I'm coming to all your houses for food, drink and music. Okay, I really don't drink much.Carl

The lot has been cleared and there is a big hole in the ground. Looks like a Feb '14 completion time.
I'll start posting some pics soon. -

This place looks familiar.... Didn't they find an old Indian burial ground there or something? Maybe it was an old Civil War burial site. The Gear... That was quick! Can't wait to see it. You still at ALS? I heard through the grapevine that they lost the contract...

No worries Tom. ALS signed back on for another 3.5 years. Pike lost the overhead construction contract for the Carolinas region.
Gotta get yer butt up here and lay out the AV and 2ch rooms. Dig it? -

Congrats Russ. You still got the SDA-1C?

Back again. House is done. moved in and ready to host.

Nice looking homes.
Too bad they are not available anywhere near me. But if they were in the Los Angeles area they would be 2.35 million. And up.
I was talking to a real estate agent last month and she said I can find you anything you want. When I told he she said you are crazy.
All I wanted is my perfect listening room. She said I should just dig a big hole and build the listening room in it, then build a house on top. She's probably right too.
