It seems pretty much everyone likes the sound of Wilson's unlike say B&W's, which tend to have a rather polarizing effect.

Martin Logan room. They were playing classical during my visit. Good details but not enough attack and slam for classical music. Not my cub of tea.

Dynaudio C2 Sig with BMC electronics. I like Dynaudio in general but not in this setup. I was not able to connect with the music at all. It probably sound better to my liking in a tube setup.

A room with Magico and Pass Labs setup but it's actually a room demoing some type of add on super tweeter. Not impressed with the sound at all. Maybe it was just a bad recording so that can demo the effect of the super tweeter

Is that a Coconut Audio anti-diffraction analog phone on the wall? They are legendary for allowing the user to experience sonic eargasms from their systems even when listening to it from thousands of miles away!

I was at the show and the Zu room sounded really good. They had the Druids set up with their Submission subwoofer, a 1 watt tube amp, Allnic preamp and a turntable. Sean, the designer was one of the most down to earth designers there. My only unmet desire would have been to hear their Definition 4 speakers.

My other stand outs from the show was Salk Audio. Hearing their SS8's was amazing because they had the ribbon tweeter nailed down right and the bass was right. It just all jelled together very enjoyably. I was also impressed with the Salk Stream music server. Instead of getting a Mac Mini and stripping it down, Jim designed a computer with just the bare bone essentials w/Linux. Sounded Excellent.

Those blue Acapella horns blew my mind! Super duper realistic and open sounding.

I also really liked the Kef Blades, very engaging and life like. We nick-named them the "Silver ****" speakers. LOL!

My favorite room was the Wilson Audio room with the Spectral monos. They had the biggest room and the speakers were set up like 20 or 25 feet apart! They had such huge musical weight that it made everything else sound small. It was like being at a live concert. I had them play my demo CD with Dead Can Dance, " Opium" and it totally rocked. Everything they played sounded good though. I came back to this room 3 times to enjoy it. My dream speaker for sure.
