Sda1 questions ?

Sda1 vs sda2b what would you say the difference is in sound quality & any other you can explain about them ? being the 1's have more drivers-are they as accurate ? What would sda1 fair price if in very good condition go for ? I have read some threads on the 1's but thought id ask and see when comparing the two of them,as i have not listened to the 1's ever....TIA

    lol Why wouldn't this thread be appropriate in the speakers section? The SDA1's are speakers, are they not? :wink:

    Agreed. 2Bs with the RDO-198s, new quality caps, and also recommend doing the dimensional inductor upgrade.
    My 2As are completely different speakers now.

    Depends on which SDA1 you are talking about as Shurkey mentioned.

    1C's....wonder if they are PIN/Blade for the umbilical cord. $550 is a bit steep for CL unless they are absolutely mint. Mint with cord they are worth $550 and if they don't have to be shipped you're already saving $100-150.

    Are you suggesting TL'ed/upgraded 2B's are better than TL'ed/upgraded 1C's or just original 1C's?

    I'm keeping my eyes open for 1C's too see if I prefer them over 2B's.

    Not saying it can't be done. I think I read at least one thread that discussed it, but not sure of the outcome.
    My 2As are TL'd and not sanctioned, but the Hi-Pass section of my crossover is nearly Identical to the 2B, so It worked out perfectly.

    Well my friend is not going to grab them so thats how the story goes. He comes over & says all kinds of stuff. Then backs out every time :( Hes dazed n confused
    maybe ill email the guy & see if the price is firm. Those would be a nice pair to have for a good price
