I have had one over a year now, after a recent firmware update, netflix no workee.

Long story short, after a couple hours with customer support, they admitted a widespread prob. with recent players and netflix.

They are promising to not only emailing me when they have a soulution, but also calling me.

Im planning on calling them and asking for a refund, we will see.

My panny plasma in the bedroom streams netflix fine, and you tube and other apps beside nf are all fine on both.

I've had no issues with mine and use it for Netflix almost daily. I just checked it before posting this. Hopefully it's not as widespread as you were told.

Most Blu ray players suck today , not many are of high quality. Sorry to hear you having issues with Netflix , Get a Apple Tv or a Roku player and forget about doing it with Blu ray players. The Interface is so much better on the Apple TV over all of them.

    Scottyboy76,

The PS3 is one of the most versatile players you could have. My expensive player won't do something, I just turn to the PS3. The PS3 always bails me out.

I agree. My parents are on their 3 BD player now. I told them for the amount of money they've spent on the BD players, they should of bough an Oppo.

Oh i forgot to add, once turned on it wont shut down.

It starts to, then just sits there with that stupid "bye" spelled out on the clock counter display until you unplug it.
