FYI Boys and Girls, one of my customers just informed me the 198s will be out of stock till the end of October.
He ordered a pair, and only got one. Polk CS gave him that time frame. I haven't verified with Polk CS myself, since I don't need any at the moment.

    Because of my ignorance I have 6 brand new ones. I ordered wrong for my 2.3's thinking I had the tl's. Oops. I Have an RGA from polk to return but if someone needs some pm me and i'll send em to you for what I paid for them.

    Polk new the more drivers speakers had back in the day the more monthly recurring revenue they would have in the future....lets call it job security....LOL

    Thats fine WMG. Ya know whats funny is that there are no markings on either one. The RDO-194's and the 198's look exactly the same. I had to mark on the box which was which so I wouldn't get em mixed up.

    Great I'll let him know. The 198s have a 3/16 spade terminal for the ground, the 194 are both 1/8" spade

    Yea A little more thought was put into the speakers of the last generation, tl series, so that the sl-3000 tweeter could not plugged in with the wires crossed and of course that shows up on the 198 replacements also.
