Gonna give D-sonic a try! Ordered a new M3-1200s stereo amp today. Talked to Dennis, who is a hell of a nice guy,as he told me this is no sonic difference between the mono's,and the stereo amp's. After reading the farmer's Wryed thread, glad I opted for the D-sonic  Ive read a lot of great things about Dennis' amps, and am excited to try em out! Rabbit hole just keeps getting deeper:eek:

Way to go Bob...kicking **** & taking names I see. That's one hell of an amp you got coming. I'm telling you you're going to be floored with it's performance. I think what separates Dennis' line from others is that he doesn't use the B&O ICE amps but a newer topology platform that he says is head & shoulders over the B&O design. Well the proof is in the pudding so to speak. I eagerly await your review. This is too funny too because I'm having conversations with Dennis on a possible killer 7 channel amp I'm looking to have him build. I'm not even close to hitting China yet so there's plenty of "HOLE" to dig.

You're very welcome! Dennis told me the same thing that the stereo & mono amps sound identical, simply a matter of preference. For my system the mono's were a perfect fit. Our amps are identical so I pretty much know what you're in store for. I just don't want to spoil things for you. Congrats & enjoy!!!

Nice dude, congrats. Be very interested in your thoughts once you get a chance to play with them.

Considering your current amp, the Bat VK500, which is no slouch by any measure, I'm looking forward to the comparison.

I hope when you first hear the dsonics they sound dry and miserable and you start crying at the same time you overstuff your mouth with Cheetos only to roll of the couch in a fetal position repeating.. 'what have I done, what have I done'

I am actually very curious though as to how bob's experience goes with these as he's the only one who can really get me the info I need on using them with electrostats. I eagerly await your impressions Bobsauto49 and hope 2 things... first, they have a great return policy  and second, they sound fantastic

Congrats on the new amps Bob! I was tell PFB just yesterday to give Dennis a call to check out some of his D-Sonic amps. Dennis is a great guy and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with his product. I've met him in person a number of time at HAS(Houston Audio Society) meetings and he is familiar with the Club Polk Forum and Polk speakers.

Did you ever handle vinyl when eating Cheetos? If so I bought some of your used records in Milwaukee.

Congrats on your amps! Your ESL's have powered bass modules, so these will power panels only, right?

That's retarded, and a typical "salesman's" response. If there is no difference then why build mono's. Stupid. I would have politely said no thanks and hung up, his products would have been out of the running for making such a stupid statement, unless it's true. Then I would question his engineering and topology and capabilities as an amp designer/seller.

Well, what makes a set of monoblocks special?

-Individual L & R amps (Usually flagship model)
    -Reduced crosstalk
    -Seperate power supply...(usually beefy)
-Can be placed closer to the speakers.

    Anything Else I missed?

The D-Sonics don't share power supplies but only ground and AC line power. http://www.d-sonic.net/products/
So, their amps are Dual, Triple, Quad, Quint/Penta, Sex/Hexa, Sept/Hepta - Mono Designs.
    They offer several 400, 500, 600, 800, 1500 watt combinations.
I guess the only advantage of the monoblocks is that one can put them closer to the speakers if they wanted?

Just a different topology and approach....and I'm not a sales person. LOL

Interesting take to say the least. But the question as to why build mono's? Seriously.

I'm going to make a prediction, we'll see if I call it. I think for the most part it will be a wash. I think the Bat may win on the higher frequencies and tone, maybe a tad better on soundstage width and height but not by much. The Dsonic may win on speed and dynamics, again, not by much. Hence I call a wash.

Interesting! If that's the case, the BAT will be out the door! I've had to send the left channel in twice for problems already, and it's starting to piss me off, however,Victor promises to have it fixed this time! But I flat out love how it sounds when it was working! But pulling the 120lb monster out and disassembling it has been a major PITA! I'll find out tues.how the d-sonic matches up!
