Agree, we all make some mistakes.

Thank goodness I've never been in a position where I'd have to make that statement !

It's all good. Dood kind of stepped on his crank, issued a pretty decent "Mea Culpa" (Canadian for "I surrender"), so ... all good.

Those old school stadium seats are really neat. Back-in-the-day, we'd go down to watch the Cards play in Sportsmen's Park (kind of the original Busch Stadium). We'd start in the upper deck bleachers and, by the 3d inning, we'd have climbed over rails and made our way down to empty box seats. Those OS seats were awesome for banging on during rallys; grab the seats on either side of where you were sitting and .... WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM ....

Pglbook - thanks for a classy response.

I read many years ago that 87% of face-to-face communication is non-verbal. That means that only 13% of what we 'really' mean gets transmitted via email. Makes it easy to have unintentional misunderstandings.

The Polk Forum is a unique place, and we're happy to have you here.

Sorry, Peter, didn't mean to piss you off. But as a few others have mentioned, anyone who buys this may want to resell it in the future, and without docs of some kind, it becomes harder to prove it's worth. I meant no disrespect. Carry on...

there was one on Pawn Stars recently and they too passed for the same reasons... It is what it is.

As a die hard Yankee fan, first off, let me say.... COOL!!!!!

You definitely want to get the thing authenticated prior to selling it. One other place you can talk to is Steiner Sports, but they're in Westchester, so a bit farther away from you than Cooperstown.

I'm definitely not a Yankees fan (hate them) but, recognize their place in history as the most storied franchise to date. This would be a great piece to own. If it was authenticated I would seriously consider it, even though I'm a Red Sox fan.

    Kharp1 -

I still have blackouts of 2004 and 2007. But I have fond memories of 1978 and 2003. I would say Red Sox and Dodgers are number 2 in Baseball History.

    Go Yankees
Statistics show that 98% of us will die at some point in our lifetime.

The other 2% will work for WalMart.
