    Going to have to disagree with ya pal. While connection is important, it's not an overriding factor. Soldered ends ? Works fine except your probably using some sort of tin based solder....which is bad. I guess when it comes to cables, how it sounds is the determining factor for most, regardless of what connections, metallurgy, design is used.

    When I solder, I only use Cardas Quad-Eutectic.

    $1 for tin $4 for silver, I only use silver for audio.
    When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.
