speaker sidewall

Does it matter if one speaker is 2inches more from the wall then the other speaker? would it make a different?Cause right now i got one speaker a little farther from the side wall then the other.Would this mess with imaging etc...?

    Have you tried moving them around some ? Did you notice a difference ? If not-dont be too worried about it. It may effect alittle bit if your good with it-thats all that matters. Sometimes speaker placement can be difficult. So we need to improvise. Depends on the speaker too :) play around with them & enjoy

    Most receivers these days will have a microphone that can be used to calibrate your speakers. This means that the volume on the speakers will be automatically adjusted for you. It will calculate the distance between the speaker and the listening area and adjust the volume accordingly.

    However, if your receiver does not have this feature you may manually calibrate your speaker settings by adjusting the volume until their is a balance between the right and left speakers.
