monitor 5B compatibility question

So I'm just starting out in the vintage audio world. My first purchase was a Pioneer sx-626 which is in great shape and everyone says it is a great receiver just low powered at 20wpc @8 ohms. I then came across some 5Bs that had one blown tweeter, so I decided to order up the RDO's to replace them after reading a lot of great reviews. Now I'm hearing that I have to be careful running those speakers with that receiver for fear of clipping them. What are your guys thoughts on this? I'm hoping this isn't true as I just dropped $100 on tweeters thinking these would pair nicely with the 626.
Sorry for the long post, just a little confused now.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum!
Something doesn't add up: I see specs that call out both 110 Watts/channel and 20 Watts/channel and they can't both be true (even if we're talking about into different impedance loads).
If it's the former, you should be ok; if it's the latter, I don't see how you could drive any "hi-fi" speaker (clipping would be the least of your problems). If it came with some documentation or you can get a definitive reading on the power, then post back.Yamaha RX-A2050 AVR (5.0.2); LG OLED77C2 4K TV(4) Polk Monitor 10B's w/SoniCaps, Mills, and RDO-194 tweets (R/L F/R)(2) Polk RC80i (Top Middle)Polk CS300 center channelAnalog: B&O TX2 Turntable, Nakamichi Cassette Deck 1Digital: Pioneer CLD-99 Elite LD, Panasonic DMP-UB900 UHD Blu-RayBedroom: Arylic Up2Stream AMPv3 driving Polk Monitor 4's w/peerless tweets -
That's my issue, it says 20 wpc for 8 ohms and up to 110wpc for 4 ohms, if anyone that has owned an old pioneer please chime in as I'm still not sure but am really needing to know.

The 5Bs are 6 ohm nominal, and rated 20-125 watts per channel. I think you'll be fine.
BTW, I have the owners and service manuals (PDF) if you need themHome Theater/2 Channel:

It'll be fine for most listening levels.
Unless you always listen at really high volume, it'll work great.
Also, old pioneers sound more than what the watts suggest.
I have SX-580 and has enough power.
