Stands for SDA Compact Reference?

My father in law has a pair of SDA Compact Reference speakers that he bought new back in the 80's. I have them in my house now so I can clean them up for him (there are some scratches on the cabinets and some paint, but the drivers seem to be perfect and they sound great). Did Polk manufacture a matching stand for these speakers? He doesn't have a set and I was thinking I would pick him up a pair if there is such a thing. If there isn't a specific stand for them, what brands and stand heights do people recommend? These are pretty heavy speakers and they're wide so I'd like to make sure I get the right thing.

Polk sold stands specifically made for the CRSs but they are no longer available. Generic stands can be used provided they can support the weight, are the proper height, and have a wide base and top plate to prevent them from toppling over. Spikes for the base are also recommended.

Thanks for the info. Now that I know Polk made specific stands, I'm going to see if I can find a used pair. If not, I'll look into other options.
