Beer run last night thought I would stop at the local mom and pop shop and get this. I'm glad I did the Negro Modelo's
went down pretty easy listening to this. It sounds like the Ryche of old fits right in with Empire, or Promised Land, never thought I would say this good riddance Geoff this La torre guy is awesome. thought about using Geoff's last effort with the Ryche as a beer coaster last night Dedicated To Chaos was Horrid. This new one will bring all you Queensryche fans back.

hummmm, being a huge Queensryche fan I will have to check this out. I agree, their offerings in recent years were dreadful to say the least. I am still not exactly sure, from reading what I read, who screwed who with Tate being fired and all. Operation: Mindcrime is still my favorite though. It never grows old to me.

I was a big fan of them, especially with the older stuff (self titled, The Warning, etc.). How many original members are there yet? It's been a while since I've caught up...

Love Negro Modelo. Queensryche without Geoff Tate? Kinda sounds like Van Halen w/out David Lee Roth, or Journey with that Phillipino dude

Queensryche without Geoff Tate...ugh, say it isn't so. I agree, their latest stuff has not been good. Things went downhill when Chris DeGarmo left. My favorite album is Empire with Mindcrime a very close second. That said, I am sure I will check out the new stuff.

Compare the new song to a song from any other Queensryche album. Which song would you say it sounds the most like?

I heard one of the new songs , it's damn good. I'm a huge fan and have been since the first Album. Jeff has his own version and actually it's not as good , go figure. Side note he is one of my all time favorite singers.

I have been a big fan of theirs since their EP. But they have not been the same since DeGarmo left the band. I saw them a few years back on the "American" tour and they were just a shadow of their former self. I may try to give the new stuff a chance.

A very interesting read about the downfall of the band and apparently how Tate and his wife really screwed things up.. There's also video on youtube of Tate telling the crowd in Oklahoma, "you guys suck!".. I fully believe and support Michael Wilton.. Just a shame about Geoff Tate..

I dunno about how the band is now, but "Jeff Tate's Queenryche" just played here probably a month ago.

I see the two sides lawyering up.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

Queensryche has been dead for twenty years IMO.. With that said I still love Empire, and Operation, and I will always love the EP..
