I've upgraded and don't need these fantastic subs. 12" and 300 watts makes music and movies come alive.

I actually have THREE available, Owned two for about a year for the basement, the other for 6 months for the upstairs before I upgraded to a VTF-15H (I have a massive room) If you've got a small-medium room one of these will give you all the punch in the chest you want! If you have a massive room like me it might take two to get the punch in the chest, but even just one will fill in the bass very nicely!

I have grills for all three, all are in excellent condition, 9/10.

These are on New Egg for $229, and drop to $189 shipped every now and then, grab these for $175 shipped! $150 each if you buy two or more!

I go overboard on shipping, wrapped in bubble wrap with 1" pink foam board insulation all around, usually $20+ in materials alone but the arrive safe!

You might want to have the mod's update the title to reflect that. Right now it says 175 + shipping rather than 175 shipped....

Oh, and FWIW, I paid $180 for the last sub locally. Figuring $50 or so to ship them with materials, I'm definitely NOT making my money back on any of these, but I'd rather see them go to Polkies than random locals.

That said if anybody local wants to pick them up we could have some fun seeing what five subs sound like in one theater room.

I've suddenly became motivated to SELL!!

I just purchased an HCA-3500 and need to free up some cash to pay for it!

I'll pack these up with loving care and sell them for $150 SHIPPED!!

If anybody is the least concerned about shipping this is how I do it. 3/4 and/or 1" pink foam insulation board on all sides, unit wrapped in plastic, then bubble wrap, using a heavy box with LOTS of tape. Everything that can be done to get it anywhere safely.

Just got asked a good question about these subs, thought I'd share my response!

Dunno about a velodyne, but in my 35x17x8' basement with a 15x6x8' kitchen area attached, open stairwell upstairs, three 505's can't do what one HSU can do, nor would it be fair to expect them to. You're talking about a $200 sub that weighs 40lbs vs a $1200 sub weighing 100lbs and is compared to $2000+ subwoofers, they're completely different leagues.

In a smaller room, and possibly one where I can corner load the sub, it does MUCH better. For my upstairs system it's in the corner where it outputs a LOT more than it does downstairs where I cannot corner load the sub.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the 505, and the wife doesn't want me to sell the one I have upstairs right now, but I really need to pay for that HSU I just bought....and the Parasound HCA-3500...$2000 of audio gear in two weeks, got to sell something! :razz:
