PSW12 Grille Rattle

Hello all!

I recently purchased a used PSW12 sub at a bargain price and so far im really happy with this sub, except for one really annoying problem...

At stronger bass levels (particularly lower frequencies like rumbles) my sub grill rattles ALOT and is awfully distracting/irritating.

I have localised the area of the grill rattle to the port on the lower right corner. When i press on it with my hand the rattle is almost completely removed.

Im not one looking for ultra strong boomy bass. Quite the opposite, I keep my sub volume pretty low (30-40%) and want it to blend in nicely with my speakers so it works well for both movies and music. However there are times there needs to be proper bass volume (eg: tank rumble, etc.) so Id prefer to solve the sub rattle rather than turn down the volume.

The rattle is so irritating Ive been forced to remove the grille entirely when I want to watch/listen to something that causes the grille to rattle. However I absolutely HATE having the speakers exposed (it really bothers me) as I fear someone might accidentally kick the cone or something.

Can anyone suggest how I might solve this? perhaps some masking tape on the grille pegs would give it a tighter fit in to the rubber things holding the grille?
