Due to limited space, I have to listen SDA on only CRS+ for now.
My living room is looking like a basement and even though my wifey is very tolerant, it's getting out of hand.

For sale is a pair of Polk SDA-2B Studio Version with original pin/blade IC cable (Denver local).
Few knicks/scratches here and there but very good overall.
Sound similar to CRS+ but deeper/lower bass.
$275 cash.
Thanks

SDA-2B's studio version pin/blade are sweet little speakers, I just bought a couple of weeks ago a mint pair from a fellow polkie here for $200.00.

    Thanks.
    These puppies need to go.
BTW, I listened to them after a month or so and they really sound better than I remembered.
I may have to do this often. Not listen for a while and then listen.

If they work in my room, they'll work anywhere.
You saw how crammed they are at my place.
You should hold off on getting smaller ones and get this pair instead.

Good looking 2Bs at a good price. What are the speakers sitting beside them that look like mini 2Bs with the wood tops. They caught my attention.

Did you A/B these with the RTA12's you had? Thoughts?

When I had the RTA-12C's, I had standard version of SDA-2B's.
Size is pretty much the same.
RTA-12C's are nice sounding speakers but I'll take 2B's all day long.

The 2B's are actually considered best of the SDA bunch for smaller rooms.
If you search threads, many mention that 2B's sound similar(in some cases, work better) than their bigger SDA brothers in a small room.
My pair needs crossover upgrade (may be RDO tweeters as well) and after that they'll easily outperform any upgraded RTA-12's.
I liked 2B's better than RTA-12C's as is but both pairs had SL2000 tweeters.
Not sure how 2B's with SL2000 compare with RTA-12's with peerless.

I'm selling these due to lack of space and I have CRS+ that are similar to 2B's minus some low bass but much smaller in size.

BTW, did you get the other pair of RTA-12's?

    Nope, never picked them up.

Your comments lead me to believe the 2B is more of a sidestep from RTA-12's than a step forward. I say this because the thread geoff? started with the beatuifully done RTA-12's he commented something like "I'd put these up against a pair of SDA2's any day"

I was just mentioning the facts that I didn't compare them with upgraded crossover.
But SDA-2B is much better speaker than RTA-12, not a side step but a clear and better winner.
