    Not a bad price, but the Monitor 5 and 7 take MW6502s, not 6511s.

    yep I know but weather or not you can use in those is irrelevant because they just do not come up often for sale at any price.
    You and I can also agree on there priced to sell quick.
    Originals seem to be rare as hens teeth.

    nspindel, Any chance you're ready to part with one, or both, of these? One of my SDA 2Bs has had a damaged driver for some time. Still performs as long a I avoid really low bass frequencies. I've had my eye out for a replacement and can't believe I missed these by a day.

    One thing I like about the 2.3tls they are all 6510's and they are plentiful comparably speaking

    Sorry, I've been on the hunt for these as well, in fact I had a saved search in eBay for them, but I saw this thread before I got the email alert.

    Wy don't you build up your post count, and eventually make your way to the for-sale forum and put up WTB thread? Someone may have the spare or two you're looking for.

    There's also the new stock 6511's that are available from Polk if you're really in a bind. I've got one of those that I could sell you for a few bucks off Polk's price, and I'll have two more to sell once I swap these vintage ones in.

    Mine, Mine, MINE.....LMAO As long as the pic is right and not the description numbers.....then i'm a REAL happy camper. Even if there really 6510's...i'll just save them up for a set of SRS stuff...LOL
