Here is another first Pangea cable I bought, the first being the brute ac9se pwr cble. Out of the two this one was the most surprising as I did not know what I was in for upon purchasing. For retail of $125 but a real world price of a mere $69 gets you top quality construction solid silver core cable with fancy dancy gold plated contacts
How does it sound? Well absolutely fantastic if you must know!!
I have it burned in and doing a comparison to the Wireworld Starlight and I love my Starlight!. This cable is not better or worse and its really hard to figure out what sounds best. The WW star has this really laid back but full detail presentation with better bass. The Pangea 24 ga( this cable deserves a name) has a really agressive forward sound and although not as musical it is really in your face and I love the sound and prefer it over the starlight on older imperfect recordings as it really snazzes things up is
If you like stunning detail and in your face hard badly recorded rock music like me then this cable is what you need. I did go through some recordings that I could remember when I had the audioquest forest and monster usb's and this wipes the floor with them. The mids are just great and equal to the more expensive starlight. I decided to go through my spotify premium playlists and on nearly every track the Pangea bettered the Wireworld. On some more recent HD tracks downloads it was only slightly bested by the Wireworld but this is just my opinion because to some one else without electrostats they could argue that the pangea is better?
To rap up my thoughts I will say that with cheaper USB like the forest's and the wireworld ultra violet your going to get a little veil over your presentation but with the pangea your going to rid that and get the performance of mutch more expensive usb cables and split hairs over differences
Well done to Jay Victor for designing a great over performing usb for a realistic price

Yes its at a very reasonable price when you look at all the other solid silver core usb cables as most of them start at around $250

I have been using Blue Jean cable for awhile. How does that company compare to Panega in your opinion. To be honest it's hard for me to tell the difference from on cable to the next, but others would say that specific speaker cable enhances the fidelity. Maybe a few others will chime in.Regards, Bob

Bob you can easily hear the diff with this and other high end ones like the wireworld I use. You will hear deeper bass and extended highs
