Monitor 10b

Any thoughts on a pair of 10b's for sale for $100? Have not listened to them or seen them in person. Saw a couple of pictures and the owner says the are in excellent condition.

    My thoughts also. Thanks for the input. Any thoughts on the sl2000 tweeters in them (from the pictures) vs RDO 145. I think that is the replacement.

    RDO-194 is the replacement for the sl-2000, 2, only $96 + tax and F/S tell them your a club polk member

    The easiest "upgrade" for the Monitor 10's is the RDO-194 tweeter; I did it a few months ago and wished I'd done it a few years ago!

    I had monitor 10Bs for a few years. I really liked them. I recommend getting stands for them if you don 't have them to get them up off the floor.

    If you don't want to mess with stands, you can "spike" them for enhanced bass. I've used something called "Tip Toes" for years (on carpet) and they work great (and aren't permanent like spikes).

    Excellent price, and while the RDO-194-1 is the "drop-in" replacement, the better RDO-198-1s can also be used with proper modifications to the Crossovers. Good Luck
