    HOME SWEET HOME--when you get situated youll have to have a house warming get together. Enjoy your new home :) now you can turn the dial up some. Lol

    The paperwork is flying around like crazy. I need everything except finger prints and a blood sample.....oh my. Everything is moving along smoothly though, so I can't complain. Home inspection this weekend, and the appraisal is scheduled for early next week. Once those 2 big hurdles are cleared, I think I'm in pretty good shape.

    And yes, a house warming, and a VERY loud stereo will both be in place in very short order :)

    Congrats on the big purchase!! How did the inspection go? Did you make sure there was no termite damage?! That's one big checkmark on the list I always look for. And the hot water heater/tank, HVAC.

    Home inspection went fairly well overall. No termites, and the hot water heater turned out to be brand new. Windows and sliding glass doors are Pella (never heard of them, but apparently it's a good brand.) Plumbing was also completely replaced in the last 10 years or so, so that was a pleasant surprise as well.

    There's a little mold in the crawl space under the house, but my realtor has ensured me that the seller always takes care of that, and that they'd never be able to sell the house without correcting that issue first.

    Past that it was little $20 projects here and there, but nothing absurd or scary in regards to big issues.

    Slowly getting there in regards to paperwork. Appraisal takes place this week, and we have a mold-specific inspection on Wednesday to determine how bad it is (original inspector didn't think it was bad, but who knows), and how much to mitigate.

    And I'm spent. We signed about a hundred documents today. Should be recorded at the court house tomorrow AM, and then it's all mine!


    Daboyz and Montoya, I'll be sending payment a bit sooner than expected on the Lsi-7s and the can amp. Should be next couple of days.
