I want to buy new Polks and would like to hear what your experiences have been lately? This is an update to my family room HT. I'm not too worried about the price.

What is your price range? How many speakers are you upgrading? What components does your current system consist of?

Check out the LSIM series. There are alot of reviews online. I listened to just the LSIM707 last weekend and they are very impressive.HT: LSI15, LSIC, LSIFX, Emo XPA-3:biggrin: Onkyo TXNR809, Sony BDP-S500, PannyDMP-BDT320, MIT S1 SC. Mit 73842dlp
2ch: SDA-SRS 2.3 Fully modded. BAT VK500 w/batpak, BAT VK5I, Essence HDACC. -
I 2nd that recommendation regarding the 707's. I just picked up a pair and they are something. I also use the Monitor 60's and the Lism 9's. Both very good if the 707's are out of your budget. I have been a loyal Polk customer for the last 30+ years so have limited knowledge of what else is out there, but there are plenty. Go listen to as many as you can and resist the quick plunge. Good luck on making a decision.Regards, Bob

Can't go wrong with the LSiM series.
Bookshelf or floorstanders? Will you be using a sub? Answer those questions to decide between the 703 and 705/707. I own the 703 and I highly recommend them.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden
