LOL!! Being an ex-chef, I still had to google "Rotel" to find out it was none other than diced tomatoes!!
I always thought it was the Amp!
    Funny!

We don't have the brand name Rotel up here for canned tomatoes. I will try that recipe with a can of Parasound or Sunfire.

    Aus jus.
It was very good. The chuck roast fell apart and the "gravy" was very tasty with a hint of spice from the pepperoncini. My wife and daughter thought it was spicy. Myself and my son thought it really wasnt.
My wife added brown rice (which I really dont like) to it and it actually tasted great! Very easy to make. A keeper.

I had carrots in mine and had asked my son to go to the store for potatoes. However my wife intervened while I was out and switched in the rice. However surprisingly good.

I am crockpotting (is that a word?) a whole chicken w/old bay seasoning today.

    So, here is my contribution.

    1 big chuck roast
    1 cup diced onions
    4 cups baby potatoes, quartered
    2 cups sliced carrots
    2 cups chopped celery
1 jar of Asian black bean and garlic sauce/paste (comes in a small glass jar)

Rub the black bean/garlic paste on the chuck roast all over.

    Put in the crock pot

Fill in the crock pot with the chopped vegetables

Then fill up the crock pot with water

Cook on low for 7 hrs

Boil up some fat noodles (Udon or linguini pasta work too)

Serve the pot roast up over the noodles.

Holy crap that Mississippi roast sounds good, but I'm pretty sure I'll need to put about 50 miles on the bicycle before I sit down to eat that.

I am going to show that recipe to the wife.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

I made it tonight  but it was great! We put in for eight hours with unsalted butter, onions, potatoes, carrots and garlic. Used six peppers, should have used eight!
