Nice job man... refinishing SDA's can be a lot of fun, hard work and effort, but the journey is among the most pleasurable ways to spend your audio dollar.

The best source I have found for grill cloth is Magnepan. They will sell you as much as you need. It is acoustically invisible and shear enough to see just a hint of the drivers "ghosting" through from beneath the cloth. Nothing more menacing and sexy as a stack of doped paper cones ready for action, covered up in a scanty black negligee.

The other mods... I am sure you already know all about them. Congrats and welcome to club SRS!
The Gear... Carver "Statement" Mono-blocks, Mcintosh C2300 Arcam AVR20, Oppo UDP-203 4K Blu-ray player, Sony XBR70x850B 4k, Polk Audio Legend L800 with height modules, L400 Center Channel Polk audio AB800 "in-wall" surrounds. Marantz MM7025 stereo amp. Simaudio Moon 680d DSD

    Hey are those water spots?
Those will probably come out without a lot of hassle.
My right SDA 1C came with one.
Just Google it. Johnson Paste wax and fine steel wool
is my favorite for that pretty shine and glow.

IDK what it is. Looks like the finish is coming off. Listened to some music tonight. These things are amazing as they are. I think I'm in love!

Ask F1 Nut if you like he is really good.
Anyway not down talking just saying open grain wood like that is a real easy to fix as the finish is just a stain and some wax.

I'll throw out the Parasound card! Lots on Ebay, solid, great sound. NO idea how they match up with SDA's but they do make the RTi's quite enjoyable.

I'd think something like this would drive them quite well:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Parasound-HCA-2200-II-Amplifier-/200946016709?pt=US_Home_Audio_Amplifiers_Preamps&hash=item2ec950e1c5
    Up
    LSi15 LSiC - RX-V3000

    Down
    LSiM707 - 706c - 702f/x - Dual HSU VTF-15H Mk2
    Parasound HCA-3500 - HCA-2003A - Marantz SR7005
    Sim2 D60 - Dragonfly 106" Panny 500

I'll switch the speaker outputs to eliminate the speakers but I doubt its them. There was an ADCOM in a pawn shop near me for $200. This thing is old and did well but I was told not to over drive it. Oh well.... what is it with great rock music? You have to push it every now and then. I think I have heard that the Parasounds were good. Not that bad on that one you posted. Any other suggestions?

Ok good news bad news. Good news is the amp is fine. Bad news is I'm an idiot! I forgot the Hafler had fuses for each channel... guess I should check that next time before I panic!

Question. Been listening to a lot of vinyl on these and love them. I have my monitor 10's hooked up to a modern Denon SS receiver for that but was thinking. What if these were my mains and I made my 10's my rears? Bad idea for the SDA in surround sound?

If you have a Hafler 500, you need to know about Musical Concepts.

Yea I have seen that before. That kind of stuff scares me. I'll put F350 axles under a jeep all day long but when it comes to electronics I'm like a little girl. Scared to death.
