Stacking vintage monitors

I'm just playing around and think it would be fun to stack my Monitor 7s (original Peerless tweeter) atop my Monitor 10Bs. I know folks have had various amounts of success stacking speakers (Original Advents) and want to give it a try. To refresh your memory, the top speaker will be upside down to keep the tweeters close together.
Now, how do I connect the two? Common sense dictates running a wire from the positive input of the bottom speaker to the positive input of the top speaker and doing the same with the negative side. I don't know the impedence that would result, but my amp, an Odyssey Stratos, is claimed to be stable into 2 ohms.
Any guidance is appreciated..

No advisce to give, but looking forward to your listening impressions.
Is the hook up method you described the same way folks are hooking up stacked large Advents? I would probably try that way to start.
Another method would be to shotgun wires: from the Stratos +, split to the + on each speaker on that channel. Well, I hooked up up this morning as described in the original post, and gave it minimal volume for ten minutes. Then turned it up and monitored the amp to ensure the no overheating occured.
The sound? Well, huge is the first word to use. Wall Of Sound, indeed. Crazy amounts of deep bass. So far great for R&R. Il'l put some jazz on later and really see if imaging, depth, etc, suffers. It'll be interesting to see if any kind of phasiness is inherent in this setup This is fun.

Perhaps this is what you are thinking of. My parents attended a party at Matt Polk's house back in the '80's where he stacked a pair of original SRS's.Political Correctness'.........defined

I've stacked Large Advents, Large and Smaller Advents and few others.
My best stack is a floor stander that has good mid/bass and a small bookshelf on top that has better highs than the floorstander.
I'm using Tannoy C-6 bookshelf speakers on top that have really nice high sizzles that I can't find in most other speakers.
I've tried them on top of few different pairs and always they've added nice highs that feels missing once you unplug them.
So try and listen.
Klipsch RB81, KG3.5, B&W DM602.5, Polk.
Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze. -
I have to sheepishly admit to stacking a pair of 2.3s on top of a pair of klh 12's. Having been through that my thoughts are to not waste precious listening time doing the stack thing.

Did that years ago with my original set-up some 20+ years ago. Stacked my monitor 4.5's on top of my 8t's. I thought it sounded pretty good back then, same width so it did look "normal", but did like to get my old integrated Philips kind of warm...Remember, when you're running from something, you're running to something...-me

I stack RT55's on top of RT800's, it was a massive improvement to standard Rt800's alone. It gave the mains in my system a huge boost.Polk HT system 1: LSIC, LSI25 mains, LSI F/X rears, Lsi F/X rear centers,

I do remember people stacking the old large Advents back in the day. It was kind of the poor mans "large" speaker system..LOL Going for the wall of sound sorta speak. From what i recall it did work.
I do have an old set of large Advents, that i redid. There just sitting around doing nothing. It might be fun to put those on top of the SDA 1C's, which would put the top of the Advents at something like 6 1/2 feet from the floor. Talk about a literal wall of sound..LOL
But it would probably sound really bad. You'd have all kinds of phasing issues, would really mess with the "SDA effect"
BUT, if you pulled the SDA cable. Made the 1C's run as normal speakers. Then i don't know, it may work. You may end up with some monster 6 1/2 foot high setup that would just pound you to pieces. But who knows, may be fun to try out.
