Hope he is doing well. All that I remember from him, is he was always hurting himself. From yard work, to life, to hospital, getting out of it, and fighting.

He also launched the upgrades for Polk speakers and attempted to make his own sda's. I wish him the best .

With that said. You could only help a person as much as he wants to help himself. Lots of help was offered here.

    Warmest regards to the poster.

Who offered help? If I still have a brain cell I went from a great guy who helped countless people till I had to move. I touched anyone one?
    Confused.

We have the same Father. I am not worried about me I know my true home. The pain makes me want to go there. My Mom is the one watching her son die. My two daughters will have no dad soon enough. They need me.

    You touched me.

There was help offered. But that is another matter and I speak for no others. I will help now, too. Just know that you still have people that still cares.

    Hey Ben

I was happy to see you on the forum when I signed on this morning. Since I'm not an inner circle guy around here I always wondered where the hell you disappeared to. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I bet the overwhelming majority of the folks around here appreciate your work and efforts.

That comment only seems out of place now given Ben's subsequent posts, he had no way of knowing when that was posted what Ben's current status was, which was revealed AFTER his post. I'm sure if he could take that post back now he would, so let's not go judging after the fact...

I agree to a point but those comments are unwarranted either way and most around here know he has been ill. Yeah I know most had no idea he is that ill.

Whenever a difficult situation arises people get sort of sensitive, me being one and don't like shots thrown towards a guy I feel is a genuine good guy.

Again, best of luck Ben and you do have a lot of people around here praying for you and your family.

Even though most of us know he's had health issues, the extent of those issues were generally unknown, and I think it's okay poking a little fun at a long term member who's publicly posted his own mishaps in good nature.

I don't think any harm was intended, and I hope Ben only sees the good wishes for his time and contribution here.

I have no hard feelings what so ever and don't feel anyone intended to do harm. Now that you posted the above I do have a grin on my face because I do remember a few things about our friend Ben and his mishaps.

Ben, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. It is my sincere hope that you come through this quickly.

    Harry

PS. I still have that GFA555, works like the day it was made. Also appreciated you hooking me up with Mike (in Fla.), another solid guy who I had good dealings with. Yeah, you helped me out, no doubt.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

    Ben,

Very sorry to hear about the state of your health. You were the first Polkie with whom I had direct contact (a phone call explaining how to evaluate a set of SDA 2Bs). Are you still in Connecticut?

Are you on a transplant wait-list?

Best wishes that things get better for you and your family.
