LS 90's

Hi all. I'm new here, and this is my first post. I have a set of LS 90's I bought new back in '93. At the time I thought they were the best speakers I had heard. I moved, and they sat for a few years before I hooked them up. They seemed like they had lost something. Do they need a re-cap allready? Any help/ sugestions would be great . Thanks

If all drivers are working and still lost something, yes.
Klipsch RB81, KG3.5, B&W DM602.5, Polk.
Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze. -
Agree, Might pull the drivers and make sure nothing has come loose. Also, as you probably know LS90s are particular about placement wrt bass.
Here is my upgrade and tweak thread.

Thanks, all. I did a sound check yesterday (hooked them up to my SX1980), and all drivers are working. I also checked-out thsmiths thread. Looks like a recap is in order. I just had a set of KLH Five's recapped; I can't wait to hear these 90's when done. I did notice they sounded better with the 1980. It's putting out over 325 wpc, after re-capping.Is there a parts list? Thanks again.

Find your schematic here: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?38755-POLK-AUDIO-Speaker-Wiring-Schematics-amp-More-ALL-MODELS-except-SDA
There are two versions, you'll need to pull BOTH crossovers to verify what you have. I had one pair that had different versions.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Thanks, westmassguy. I did take a peek at the crossovers yesterday, and they look the same. How can you tell if the are the original, or revised version?
