I know this is probably a hard question to answer but i am trying to determine a location for 20-39pc+ sub, i am limited on placement so was wondering if it would hurt sub output to locate about 3ft out and 1ft away from corner and wall,if you look at my showcase pics i would like to place in one of the current sub locations. Or would it be better to place directly in corner?

    Racer,

If you have a Radio Shack decibel meter you can go to this website:

    http://beyond_gomer.tripod.com/

and burn the 1/12 octave test tones to a cd. Then do a sweep test (like I did on another thread here today) and plot the results. I have a spreadsheet that I set up that will do all the correction factors necessary for the RS meter.

Using the plots and your ears you can then determine what will be best for you. The corner loading will give you some boost in dbs at certain frequencies but you might not need it.

At least this is a starting point that I would use.
