.....VERY GOOD POINT..as i state in the first post. I was willing to pay 325.00 plus shipping. I lost out. I kinda thought that was a great deal if i had won. IF THEY COST 599.00 plus tax new. Back in the day
then what if someone has some MINT ones for sale..too me i was hoping to buy them and do upgrades to make them perfect. So if i had let say 800.00 dollars into these and they performed OUTSTANDING wouldnt that be a worth while investment...

That's exactly how I feel, Randy. If I took the amount someone else would give me for my (NEW condition, really! See above.) Monitor 10s and added the amount that I have put into them so far, plus the amount yet to be put into the XOs and went shopping for new speakers being sold today, I couldn't come close to getting what I'll have when these are done.

Thats called the sentimental factor you bought them new have taken good care of them. You say to yourself man to replace these with what I got into them, it would be hard you convice yourself to sell them. I belive thats what we speaker horders say to ourselfs.

Another good example I got a nice Yota truck with low miles bought out west its 21 years old and has 78,000 miles on it never been exposed to midwest winter salt. I garage it during the winter months. it's bluebook value might be $1500. iF I sold it I would never find a truck for $1500 that was not a beater so to me its worth a lot more than what I could sell it for.

    Hang on to those babies!

Well. I did miss out on the BEAUTIFUL MONITORS.....but I SCORED some SDA2b's. they will be here soon. So i will be happy once i get playing around with them. Then i can upgrade them. I had some and was stupid and sold them. Sometimes i do some stupid things. Thanks for your great feedback on how prices and things happen when we are trying to better our systems :) Randy

There are a lot of people selling stuff that don't know what they have. Or just want rid of it. Easy to find good deals if you know the value of what they have.

Yes, Kijiji is a Canadian Craigslist owned by eBay I believe, its pretty good but it is usually local with people who don't ship too often.
