With the same disc as before....116.7bd. "A" weight, Max, Fast, High and dbC, -30 db, SRS 2.3 and subs only.

Yes, that number is more inline with the given gear. One question, did you mean C weighted because that's what I meant.

Sunfire Signature amps are good for 425wpc x 5 channels. This would become 850wpc into a 4ohm load.

    His speakers are 6 ohm.

Yes, I meant C on the 116.7 reading and A on the 123.5. Is biamping going to really do much? I understand these amps will take from unused channels if its available.

I have a feeling it will come one day LOL. I do not play that loud for very long. In fact this is the first time I have done more than a song or two at that volume. I played Megadeth hits album. 17 songs! LOL. It is the longest I have ever done that. Mostly it is just a tuning or play day that sees a song or two at high volume.

Yep Megadeth it is for me when pissing off the rappers down the street Rust In Peace, or Peace Sells, or on the lighter side Count Down. A little Dave Mustaine and the boys does it every time. At those levels your talking about, couldn't imagine

Since you've got the amp, might as well try it. That said, true bi-amping is a completely different animal.

The true bi amping being separate signals from the pre I assume rather than the same signal filtered at the crossover? I have done some car audio installs and figure this is what you mean but in that case true biamping would be amped after the crossover correct?
