Up for sale this time are my Magnepan MMG's... WARNING!!! These are the gateway drug of the Magnepan line-up, and hold their own against speakers costing MUCH more money that these do. They are in near perfect condition and are an amazing performer in all respects. Very "high-end" performance for the money.

    They will eventually be replaced with 3.7's, but that is several years away. Right now my focus is on building a new room to house the HT/listening room. I have a tone of work to do there and my SDA-SRS 1.2TL's will be doing double duty for a while.

    i would jump on those silnotes if i were looking for a great set of interconnects. wonderful midrange, smooth highs and solid bass. i have a pair of these in my second system and wrote a review on them for stereomojo.

    LOL, I find that typo both hilarious and yet accurate....

    Folks those MMG's are GREAT speakers. They have great WAF factor because you can hide them out of the way when your not using them which my wife was a big fan of, it also makes it easy if you have other speakers as you can pull the Maggies out in front of them, and then off to the size when you want to listen to your other speakers.

    There are 1 pair of MIT EXP speaker cables left @75.00, the MIT Terminators @125.00 and the Kimber Cable PBJ's left @50.00...

    The big Maggies have some interest from Audiogon...

    If any of you local guys that have been looking for the big SDA's, These MG20's are absolutely worth your time to come and see. They, by a long shot, sounded much better and more impressive than the 1.2TL's in every category of performance, including detailed deep bass. If they had any WAF at all, they would not be for sale. If I had the space for two monster speakers in my house, again, they would not be for sale. These speakers are the absolute closest to real life as I have heard, and I am sure Doug and Dave had much the same impressions. Further, if a local guy gets them, you will never need to worry about repairs on these, as I know how to care for them as well as the folks at Magnepan do....
